Holy cow, its been too long!

I have just realized the last time I wrote a post was August 11!! I need to get back on the ball with this, sorry blog friends. Well let's see if I can sum up the last two weeks in a single blog post.

The weekend of the 13th Jack Will and I went to the Iowa State Fair with my older sister, her husband and their 1 year old daughter. We had such a great time too! We saw pigs, cows, chickens, and horses OH MY! I ate probably the best corndog of my life, even though it had a hair in it, gotta love that protien! Every year the fair does "something on a stick" and this year it was butter with a cinnamon batter and dipping sauce. I guess the butter melts into the batter when fried. Just hearing that made my arteries clog. I didn't try it if your asking. This is Will doing the fairs "little hands on the farm"

Monday the 15th Jack and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary! WOO HOO! We celebrated later in the week and went to dinner and a movie. It was a nice and relaxing way to celebrate.

Will and I have started to go to the Papillion Library's Toddler Time. Will hasn't been real keen on the singing and dancing part of the fun time, but he does enjoy the books and playtime afterwards. We than head to the park to play for a bit before lunch time :) He seems to be a lot more cool and calm when we do big mornings like that.

This week has just been great thus far and the weekend is going to be even better! Yay for the weekend! Hope you all have a good one.

A relaxing week

Recently I have become obsessed with Pintrest (Thanks Lindsay for that one!) But seriously its simply amazing, I can lose myself in that website for hours. I have found amazing recipes, DIY crafts, and nursery/Will's room ideas. I've already found my x-mas cookies for the annual Christmas cookie swap. I love this website! The ladies will probably enjoy it more than the fellas, sorry guys.

As for other things in the world of us Grange's, this week has been quite relaxing to say the least. The weather has been wonderful out and we've all been able to hit the park without wanting to pass out with heat exhaustion. Maybe I can get back outside and do some late summer gardening/clean-up. I've let my backyard go WiLd in some spot. Plus I have this pesky yellow nutsedge that just won't go away even with putting killing spary on it.

As far as the pregnacy goes everythings going great, I seem to be much more nervous this time around when I go into the doctors office. Not quite sure why? My energy level seems to be coming back finally, now if I could just kick this stomach stuff I would be one happy lady. Will saw pictures of the last ultrasound and went through each one and said "baby, baby, baby, my baby." it was adorable! Will is talking more and more everyday, its simply amazing how fast kids can pick up new words by the minute. Jack and I have also decided to start on his new big boy room. Our goal is by Thanksgiving to have him sleeping in a big boy bed. I've been quite excited to start painting and decorating his new room. I have so many ideas for his room and the new baby's room. Jack better keep his eye on me or I might go bonkers, just kidding Jack!!!! I'll have picture to come for sure though.

Have a great rest of the week everyone!!!

Super senses....my smell

Well this time around has been quite the experience with my smell. It is so sensitive to smell that one little stink will make me gag.

Take tonight for instence, Will told me he was "bo bo" or poopy, so I take him up to change. Well my nose was not having it tonight. i was gagging and holding back vomit with all my might till i got that diaper on Will and him off the changing table. Than I ran, Will following behind me, to my bathroom and preceeded to meet the bowl. Will was quite startled, he looked like he was ready to cry, but he just said "bo bo?" and spit in the bowl with me.

Awww the things us mothers go through to have kids. Granted that was only the second time I've had a relationship with my toilet this pregnancy. Not too shabby I'd say!
